A dialogue on important climate and environmental policy issues took place at the university station of the country.

“At the University of Technology, environmental awareness is at the heart of research, research and development and education: 128 include the word environmental protection, and 738 have the word environment, which also shows that we are sensitive to the topic. BME has the largest number of environmental engineers in the country, and all eight faculties deal with areas such as efficient energy management, green energy or recycling in research and development,”said Tibor Czigany to the students and experts in the Rector's Council Rector.

The rector confirmed that students would be made aware of the importance of environmental protection in a number of ways: in a plastic waste management lab, for example, a small object is re-poured from a PET bottle collected from the Danube, reminding students not to throw anything away because everything is recyclable.
