6 in 10 students seek international education for career opportunities

International students continue to seek education opportunities abroad, motivated by greater access to quality programs and subsequent career prospects, a new survey has revealed.Of all respondents, some 60% of international students said they are looking abroad to benefit from quality education at a high-ranking institution. Meanwhile, 58% said they are motivated by career development after they graduate, an insights report published by NCUK and IDP Education revealed.

The report, published on November 21, surveyed around 1,000 NCUK students from around the world in a bid to understand their study motivations.
