Yesterday evening, seven Swiss startups were awarded the WA de Vigier Prize, including the two ETH spin-offs Alivion and NematX and the ETH startup Nemosia.

From over 200 submitted projects, the jury of the de Vigier Foundation chose seven young Swiss entrepreneurs, each of whom will be awarded 100,000 francs. Two of them - Alivion from Menzingen and NematiX from Zurich - were founded at ETH Zurich. With Nemosia, a young company that wants to commercialize a technology developed at ETH Zurich is also successful. The ETH spin-off Diaxxo was also among the ten finalists.

The jury members of the de Vigier Foundation rated the companies according to their degree of innovation, social relevance, technical and financial feasibility, market opportunities and the potential for new jobs.
