PRESTIGIOUS SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS OF IT AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Three students of the Faculty of Computer Science and Telecommunications were among 25 young female high school graduates and students of computer science from universities all over Poland, who received scholarships for the "New Technologies for Girls" program during the official Inaugural Gala. They were selected from among over 800 candidates.

The program is a response to the small number of women in the new technology industry. Intel - a company that contributes to the future of new technologies and the Perspektywy Education Foundation, which has been supporting educational choices for many years, incl. as part of the action "Girls at polytechnics!” decided to offer high school graduates and students a unique program to support their development.

This pioneering initiative on the Polish market is to encourage young women to become interested in new technologies and to choose a career path related to them. The winners of the Intel-Perspektywy program - 25 young women from all over Poland (selected from a group of 850! Applications) - will be under the care of a Mentor or Mentor - experienced Intel employees. They will receive a scholarship of PLN 12,000 gross. We will also invite some of them to take part in an internship program at Intel Technology Poland in Gda?sk, the largest Intel R&D center in Europe.
