A course in Flanders, Belgium and the Netherlands for foreign students and researchers. That, in a nutshell, is the content of the Low Countries Studies course in English, which will be organized for the 27th time from Wednesday 16 February 2022. The course participants receive a wide range of information about all kinds of aspects of Flemish society: language, culture, history, art, media, economy, spatial planning, etc. All this is discussed within the broader context of Belgium and the Netherlands.
Low Countries Studies is organized by the Faculty of Arts and Philosophy. The course consists of twelve lectures and can be followed as a subject (with evaluation) and as additional training in the context of Lifelong Learning (without evaluation). See registration for all details.
