Attention is growing for the well-being of students, even more so after the pandemic emergency. On Thursday 30 September and Friday 1 October, the "Good practices Symposium on student well-being" initiative , organized by the European consortium EUniWell (European University of Well-Being), will be online to share the good practices that emerged from the call launched by the universities of the network to which the University of Florence belongs .
The symposium, organized by Unifi and the universities of Birmingham, Leiden and Semmelweis, will be an opportunity for students, researchers and administrative staff to discuss their respective programs and develop connections with other academics and communities in their respective countries.
Among the proposed interventions, three will be entrusted to Unifi professors: Giulia Vettori , professor of the Department of Education, Languages, Interculture, Literature and Psychology will speak about "Understanding the Significance of Students' Learning Orientations for the Well-being and Scholastic Success", Claudio Piferi (Department of Architecture), will deal with "The quality of living for students' wellbeing", Fiammetta Cosci , of the Department of Health Sciences, will speak on "Psychological wellbeing of Florence university students during the Covid-19 pandemic".
