Germany EU Blue Card Changes Explained

Germany has introduced several new changes to its Blue Card, which is a European Union-wide residence permit designed particularly to attract highly qualified workers from third countries, in fields where there’s a shortage of labour in the EU countries.

The German government has approved last week several changes to its immigration policies, in a bid to attract more foreign workers, SchengenVisaInfo.com reports.

The changes include a new job-seeker residence permit with a validity of three years, and the removal of several bureaucratic procedures, including here creating new facilitations for obtaining an EU Blue Card in Germany.
