New immigration law, if approved, will ease the deportation of foreigners who have committed crimes, force countries to take back those deported and tighten conditions for obtaining residence permits.
Some of the bill’s provisions intend to facilitate migration situations for specific categories, mainly related to the employment of skilled migrant workers and asylum seekers, especially in sectors with labour shortages.
Employers hiring undocumented workers might have to pay higher fines.
